A light switch that automatically turns on or off when somebody walks into the room. The switch can be set to turn off the after a curtain amount of time with no motion in the room.

The cost for the light switch could vary depending on the type you want. Mainly a decent quality on would be $15.99 per switch. The switches would be very effective because they save energy, save money, and use less power. It would be easy to implement the switches because all you need to do it take out the old ones and hook up the new ones.

These solar panels are panels that get placed on the roof of a building. Their purpose is to collect the energy from the sun. Then they store it and it is used to power a school for example.

·      Cheaper to power a school

·      Uses natural energy that will never be used

·      Better for the environment because it is not using energy by burning coal

·      Costs a lot of money to install and buy

The cost would be ever high because you would need to install them and you need to buy them. An average price for a solar panel is $1,000. The plan would be very effective because it saves money that can be spent on something else. It would be a little above easy because they need to be installed and that is a big job. Plus, the school would have to cut off the power from the power plant.

This could cost just as much as getting windows. This plan would be very affective because of all of the reasons why this is a good idea. This would not be very easy to do, but during the summer, it is possible.

 Rain Barrels are barrels that are attached to the drains that are on the edge of the roof that drain the rain. What the rain barrels do is they take the rain and store it to water the grass or a garden. Think of rain barrels as the water they collect is free water. If you do not use a rain barrel the water you use is coming out of your water budget.

  • They collect natural water
  • The water is free
  • The water can be used to water gardens or the grass
  • Cost less to use

  • Costs money to make
  • Have to cut the metal to attach the barrel

Rain barrels are very easy to make. It cost less to make them than to buy them so I have included how much each part cost.  A simple plastic water barrel cost $12.99, water spigot $5.99, and brass pipe $4.95. The plan would be effective. This will help reduce your plumbing bills. It would be very easy to implement this plan. All the person would need is some knowledge in cutting plastic and brass.

The solution I want to solve is how much water we use to flush the toilet. We can use a lot of water and this can waste lots of water. The bathroom at our school is bad. I was thinking that we can get smaller water amounts that we use in the toilets so we can save water.

          Have safer drinking water

          It cost money to get these toilets

          We have to change all the pipes to get these toilets

The cost to make this solution work would be around $700.  This plan would be effective because it would be a good way to save money and water. This would be easy to imploment

It also allows us to have more plants.

This would not cost that much money, it would only be like planting more plants. This plan would be very effective and would help the world a lot. This would be very easy to do.

This idea is to place recycling bins in the lunchroom so that people can recycle things such as the apple juice bottles that they sell in the lunchroom vending machines.

The cost for this would be maybe at the most $1 to place recycling bins in the lunchroom. This plan would be affective because people will start recycling cans and bottles. This is also good for the environment because it will go to a place where they reuse the items recycled. This plan would be very easy to implement.
